Sprout Prototype
A downloadable game for Windows
A game by Winston Powell and Alexander Bascom
Sprout encourages you to experiment with the world around them as it takes on a life of its own and instils a childlike sense of wonder! What starts as an empty landscape soon becomes a living and growing habitat to many types of plants and animals.
This game jam project has become the prototype for a fully fledged game called Sprout. An early version of that game can also be downloaded here on itch.io: acornbringer.itch.io/sprout
Controls
- "WASD" moves the character around
- "LMB" interacts with the environment
- "RMB" collects items
- "MMB" cycles through items
- "0" will stop time
- "+" will send time forward
- "-" will send it back.
- If you hold those down, time will change faster and faster.
- "Enter" will show a little number in the top left if you want to see the speed
- "Esc" will close the game

This is very cute! I was on a time limit so I wasn't able to explore everything, but I'd love to come back later and discover everything I can make with the objects in the world. I found this game through the nature pack on the asset store, thank you for making these assets available :)
